Important Information Regarding Courses Held on Zoom

Sun, Aug 01, 2021 at 4:05PM

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Teacher Education Institute has been using the Zoom platform as an alternate method of delivery for face-to-face courses. Though TEI is temporarily holding face-to-face courses on Zoom, the courses continue to follow the face-to-face format approved by our credit-granting partners. These courses, which require synchronous learning during established meeting times, are not considered as online courses. Face-to-face credit is recorded for these courses by both TEI and by our partner universities.

By enrolling in a face-to-face course on Zoom, participants are agreeing to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Participants must have cameras on and be visible during instruction and breakout sessions.
  • Participant atmosphere must be scholarly and free from distractions and noise.
  • Participants must approach the course content in a professional manner and produce work at the expected graduate level.
  • Participants must maintain professionalism in their attire by dressing as they would in an offline training session. Not only is this respectful of others, it also helps you to acquire the right state of mind for learning.

Please be aware that an instructor can remove a participant from a class for not following the established rules of etiquette.

The success of our clients is the top priority at Teacher Education Institute. We will do all that we can to ensure the success of course participants while maintaining the integrity of the course content and value of graduate level learning.
